Physical hazards

Physical hazards are objects that contaminate food (e.g. stones, metal, glass, bone) and  physically  damage us.

In fact, they are responsible for the majority of consumer complaints about food!

The most common symptom is breaking a tooth or injuring the soft tissues of your mouth when biting-down hard on a physical contaminant.
